About The Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demand & Supply Lead to optimize our supply chain operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods and services within UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd.

Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement robust demand forecasting models and methodologies to predict future requirements accurately.
* Collaborate with various departments (e.g., product development, sales, operations) to gather critical demand insights and align supply plans.
* Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations, optimizing working capital.
* Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary resources.
* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to maintain operational continuity.
* Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization initiatives.
* Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand and supply performance for senior management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
* Proven track record of successfully implementing demand forecasting techniques and supply chain optimization strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, advanced planning systems).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in team building and performance management.
* In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant industry trends.
* Project management experience and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
* Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
