Are you a compassionate, clinically skilled professional who is committed to helping individuals navigate behavioral health challenges and successfully connect with community-based support? 

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Justice-Involved Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you’ll provide assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, care coordination, and transition support for individuals who are justice-involved or moving from justice-system settings back into the community.

The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, collaborative, and confident working with patients, families, courts, correctional facilities, community agencies, and interdisciplinary care teams. This role is a strong fit for someone who values accountability, advocates for vulnerable populations, communicates with professionalism, and is passionate about reducing barriers to care while helping individuals build stability, wellness, and stronger community connections.

Essential Job Duties:

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide individual counseling, psychotherapy, and clinically appropriate interventions for justice-involved individuals.
• Provide jail outreach and community-based support to help individuals connect with ongoing behavioral health, medical, and social services.
• Support patients transitioning from correctional or justice-system settings back into the community through care coordination, treatment planning, and resource navigation.
• Collaborate with courts, correctional facilities, probation/parole personnel, community agencies, and internal care teams to support continuity of care.
• Assist patients with accessing community resources such as housing, substance use treatment, primary care, case management, transportation, and social services.
• Respond to behavioral health crises by completing risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate referrals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, care coordination, and required program activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline consistent with applicable licensure requirements.
• Current State of Ohio licensure as applicable to the position, including CT, LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, and/or LPCC-S.
• Experience providing behavioral health counseling, psychotherapy, behavioral health assessment, and/or crisis intervention.
• Knowledge of behavioral health treatment, care coordination, and community resource navigation.
• Knowledge of applicable behavioral health laws, regulations, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required credentials, certifications, and training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to community and justice-system settings as required.

Entry Level Starting Wage:

• LSW/LPC: $48,000 (BSW) $52,000 (MSW)
• LISW/LPCC: $62,000
