Senior Data Analyst to ICA Banken

Do you want to help shape the future of data at ICA Banken? We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Cloud Data Platform team and play a key role in building trusted, governed, and reusable data products across our modern Google Cloud Platform environment. This is a senior role positioned at the intersection of business, analytics, and data engineering, where you will help make data easier to understand, discover, and use across the organisation. 

About the role  

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, analysts, and data engineers to define, develop, and improve data products that support analytics, decision-making, regulatory requirements, and AI initiatives. You will translate business needs into clear data requirements, define business rules and KPIs, validate data quality, and contribute to analytical modelling and transformation in SQL and DBT. You will also help establish shared metrics, business definitions, metadata, and governance standards while supporting the continued growth of ICA Banken’s modern Data Mesh-based data platform. 

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe you have several years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role. You have strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, DBT, Tableau, or Looker is highly valued. In addition, you are comfortable translating business requirements into analytical solutions and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. Experience within data governance, semantic layers, data quality, metadata management, or regulated industries such as banking or financial services is considered an advantage.
