Overview
The Quality Inspector II inspects molded components, sub-assemblies, finished assemblies, packaging and labeling. Inspections include receiving, in-process, final inspections and rework. Completes and interprets Statistical Process Control Charts and histograms, both manually and using computer aided methods. Informs production personnel of non-conforming material, aids in the investigation of causes, material containment and corrective action, and follows up on the effectiveness of action taken. Prepares various logs, reports and documentation of QC processes, may assist with cross training others. Is trained in more than two areas of the plant and has 3+ years of experience as an inspector.
The Quality Inspector II is a critical part of the quality team to achieve day-to-day safety, quality and plant goals. Trains, monitors and coordinates the work of temporary labor and other operators.

Qualifications
- Safety and quality Conscious
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume production environment
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret, quality specifications and inspection/control plans
- Ability to lead and train others
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office, PeopleSoft/MRP Systems, Database entry, etc.)
- Flexibility
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish
- Good understanding of handheld measurement tools usage
