Engineer, Mechanical Engineering for Pulp, Energy Circularity Business Line (based in Chennai, India)
Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer’s performance forward?
We are looking for “Engineer, Mechanical Engineering” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, Engineering, PEC PEx Mechanical Engineering India”. In this position you will have an opportunity to prepare detail design drawings for pressure vessel, tanks & structures (for example Blow down tanks, Mixing tanks, Dissolving tanks, Feed water tanks and its support saddles) from engineering specifications.
In this position, you will be required to,
Prepare detail drawings and 3D Model through Engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SW & E3D)
Understand/study the inputs clearly before start of detail design.
Understand the applicable codes and standards (ASME, EN & IBR)
Follow & ensure all points in guidelines list before handing over check prints to lead engineer
Double check the detail drawings before handing over to lead engineer.
Maintenance of check prints and COPQ man hours
Time Schedule and quality of deliverables need to be achieved.
Uploading drawings into M-file, (if required)
Added advantage for stress analysis software
To succeed this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Min.10 years of experience in relevant field.
Knowledge of Codes & Standards, E3D, Solid works and AutoCAD. Minimum 5 years of exp.
Solid works / E3D design tool (Currently working with SolidWorks)
Boiler area Pressure vessel & Tanks modelling in Solid Works and Detail engineering with minimum 5 years exp.
Detail engineering knowledge of Tanks & support structures engineering
Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
