Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

Founded more than 75 years ago as a community hospital, today we operate three clinics, 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical services. We have invested millions in facility upgrades just in the last few years. About The Job:
Responsible for conducting complex analysis and interpretation of data to include monitoring of resources, evaluation of processes and presentation of historical information trends to ensure optimal organizational effectiveness. Responsible for the preparation of reports that may be presented at hospital, system and board levels along with providing professional recommendation based on data analysis. Contributes significantly to the development of new programs, policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in health care administration, business administration/finance, statistics, nursing or a related field required, Masters preferred.
- Experience:
- Financial analysis, and statistical analysis is required. Managed care, or health care claims data analysis/reporting strongly desired.
- Five or more years' experience in planning, operations or other applicable area is required.
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is required.
- Experience with leading problems solving teams to resolution strongly desired
- Special Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced Excel knowledge including developing and problem solving formulas required.
- Demonstrates innovation, accountability, empowerment, collaboration and results.
- Must be able to manipulate large sets of data, and possess strong analytical organization, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Advanced problem solving skills, the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action.
- Must have excellent organization skills and critical thinking skills.
