Clinical Research Assistant-HematalogyDepartment:
Medicine | IM HematologyTo provide assistance in the non-cancer Division of Classical Hematology within the Department of Internal Medicine in support of clinical research studies with support from the College of Medicine (COM) Center of Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in biological sciences.
Required Experience
No relevant experience is required
Preferred Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.
Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

This is a patient facing position and is required to be in the office.
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license is required as some travel within the Columbus Metropolitan Area may be required. Staff may travel to Outpatient East, East Hospital, Outpatient Dublin, New Albany, or Powell.
