Junior Test Engineer - part-time

Job Purpose

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours to provide a good balance between work and other commitments.

 

The hourly rate is 150 CZK/hour. 

 

 

We are looking for junior candidates interested in technology who would like to join our company for the position of Test Engineer. This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Your main role would be to find defects in translated software products and comprehensively report them.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

 

• Manually test desktop products and web applications for well-known software development companies
• Find defects in translated software products according to instructions provided
• Report defects in English
• Follow specific standards, practices, and policies
• Monitor assigned defects and provide relevant information required by software engineers or developers.
• Communicate closely and pro-actively with Test Lead, peer Test Engineers, Software Engineers and Test Development Engineers.
• Report relevant issues to a Project Test Team Lead and a Project Manager

 

Skills & Experience

 

• Minimum high school education (ideally in the IT field)
• Interest in IT and technologies
• Good knowledge of Windows operation system
• Some experience with manual testing is a big advantage
• Good knowledge of English – most of the instructions and reports will be in English
• Communicative level of Czech or Slovak language
• Ability to work approximately 20hour/week
