Position: SB Travel Expense Auditor

Tasks:

• Reviewing travel expense reports for compliance with relevant laws and internal Group policies using the SAP Travel Manager module
• The review of submitted documents for completeness and plausibility also includes verification of compliance with tax regulations regarding the 3-month rule for business trips, as well as a tax assessment of employee expenses (secondment, assignment, transfer)
• Posting of domestic and international travel and travel expense advances using SAP
• Reviewing the content and tax compliance, assigning account codes, and posting receipts for the reimbursement of expenses advanced by employees
• Reviewing and posting corporate credit card transactions related to charges processed by our travel agency
• Reviewing and posting various location cash funds and employee-related corporate credit cards, as well as posting payment orders from the Human Resources department
• Preparation of reports on travel expenses and itemized statements
• Clarification and reconciliation of general ledger and employee accounts
• Review of the cost-benefit ratio when applying for rail passes
• Maintenance and management of employee master data
• Regular coordination with other departments is required, as well as any referrals to the Human Resources department for income tax purposes
• Generating reports from the SAP Travel Manager tool to prepare statistics for various departments
• Systematically archiving and filing all documents and records subject to retention requirements
• Supporting domestic and international Rheinmetall subsidiaries as part of RME's shared services accounting function
  

Requirements:

• Completed three-year business apprenticeship
• Several years of experience processing travel expense reports
• Very good knowledge of the SAP Travel Management module and MS Office
• Good knowledge of wage, income, and sales tax laws
• Good knowledge of data protection regulations related to the processing of personal data
• Good written and spoken English and German skills
• A structured and meticulous approach to work
