Envita Solutions is offering a dynamic internship opportunity within its Operations organization on the Customer Impact Team, where you'll help map, audit, and improve the scheduling processes that keep customer waste and material movements running on time. This role involves partnering with project managers, carriers, and vendors to document how work is scheduled today, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and build clearer, more repeatable logistics workflows. Interns will gain hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics operations, process documentation, and data accuracy, with potential opportunities for local travel and facility tours.
Essential Functions
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Working as part of the Customer Impact Team with no specific customer assignment.
- Map and document current scheduling processes across the Customer Impact Team.
- Audit existing scheduling and dispatch data for accuracy, gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Recommend and help implement improvements to scheduling workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with transportation providers, vendors, and suppliers in support of new and existing programs.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure scheduling, data, and billing accuracy.
- Research by-product and logistical solutions.
- Support new customer implementation and onboarding activities.
- Prepare monthly/annual waste and service activity reports.
- Build tracking tools and reference materials in Excel to support scheduling visibility.
- Work with the leadership team on targeted projects related to CRM tracking and process improvement.
- Potential for local travel opportunities to meet with customers and tour different facilities.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
Education Qualifications
- Required High School or Equivalent
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree and open to current College Juniors, College Seniors, recent Bachelor's Degree graduates, and Master's students majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or a related field.
Experience Qualifications
- Preferred customer service, logistics, supply chain, or environmental experience or classroom exposure.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Comfort using Microsoft CoPilot and other AI tools to support day-to-day work.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Inquisitive and curious, with a systems-minded approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
- Regular and predictable in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Must be able to make an office commute.
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of the Envita Solutions office.

The Heritage Group Internship Program provides hands-on, paid experiences in a corporate function or within one of our many operating companies. Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing $18/hour (Freshman) - $21/hour (Senior), etc.
