GE Gas Power Global Supply Chain Manufacturing and Repairs operations encompass approximately 40 factories globally supporting New Units, Services, and Repairs across Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, Generators, HRSG, Aero-Derivative, and Steam Power systems. The Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Finance Leader provides strategic financial leadership across this network, integrating manufacturing, repairs, materials management, inventory controls, and supply chain planning activities. This leader will drive sustainable operational and financial performance while ensuring strong compliance, financial controls, and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.Job Description
The Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Finance Leader is responsible for translating business strategy into actionable financial and operational programs that drive sustainable value creation across the manufacturing and repairs network. The role partners closely with senior leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management, and Finance to deliver enterprise financial commitments while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, controls, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership and operational analysis across GE Gas Power manufacturing, repairs, and multi-modal operations to drive productivity, working capital optimization, product cost reduction, inventory performance, and base cost management.
- Support operating leaders in the development and execution of operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives across both the income statement and balance sheet, including gross variable cost, contribution margin, base cost, headcount, inventory, accounts payable, capex, estimated cost at completion, and cost productivity programs.
- Lead financial reporting, closing, forecasting, and performance reviews across the global network of manufacturing and repair facilities.
- Partner with Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, Materials Delivery, and Inventory Management teams to improve end-to-end supply chain performance and ensure alignment between operational and financial objectives.
- Drive standard work, process harmonization, continuous improvement, and enhanced financial controls through close partnership with the Supply Chain Operations Finance (SCOF) Center of Excellence.
- Establish and maintain robust reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide visibility into operational and financial performance across value streams and sites.
- Provide strategic financial counsel to business leaders, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, strengthen cash generation, mitigate risk, and accelerate decision making.
- Ensure adherence to GE Vernova financial policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards, reinforcing the company's right to operate while maintaining the highest levels of integrity.
- Balance near-term business demands with the development of long-term sustainable productivity initiatives that improve competitiveness and strengthen operational resilience.
- Prepare and support executive-level presentations for budget reviews, FP&A cycles, operating reviews, cost councils, and strategic planning sessions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global finance team while fostering talent development, succession planning, and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives, translating concepts into practical execution plans that improve business performance and responsiveness to market dynamics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing finance, operations finance, or supply chain finance.
- Significant experience leading finance teams.
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $224,000 and $336,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
