Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Point Operations in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and operations. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting security-related procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and designated facility areas to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
