Job Overview
This position is responsible for leading a load team to meet and exceed company goals. This position is responsible for communicating effectively to ensure that trucks are shipped complete and on time.
Work a consistent schedule with opportunities for overtime:

- Day shift - Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; overtime as needed, including Fridays.

- Organize and delegate tasks for teams of 2-6 loaders
- Ability to focus on the development and training of associates while maintaining a work environment that promotes success and surpasses company goals

- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to coordinate daily tasks/goals
- Perform prioritization and make decisions that proactively and positively impact the team and overall company
- Coordinate product flow with other facilities and with production lines/supervisors
- Successfully load trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner
- Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
- Ensure all products are scanned properly to the truck.
- Operate a forklift safely while performing daily tasks.
- Properly document department data/complete required paperwork.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment is maintained.
- Responsible for maintaining/repairing shipping carts and racking as required.
- Investigate quality concerns to determine root cause and prevent quality issues from leaving the facility.

- Demonstrate record of accomplishments as a team builder/leader
- Manufacturing systems knowledge and organizational skills
- Computer and scanner experience preferred
- Some knowledge of assembly operations
- Excellent human relation skills, including effective oral and written communications
- Previous forklift/industrial vehicle operation experience preferred; must be able to obtain and retain the proper forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for the role
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work successfully with a diverse workforce
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Basic computer skills are required
