RESERVATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Reservations Manager for a luxury resort in Big Sky, Montana. This leadership role oversees day-to-day Reservations operations, drives revenue performance, and ensures every guest and caller receives a personalized, seamless experience. The Reservations Manager will partner closely with the commercial team and play an active role in maximizing booking conversion and overall reservation quality.

 

• Oversee the full daily Reservations operation, ensuring all reservations, correspondence, and guest requests are handled accurately and efficiently
• Ensure every interaction reflects the resort's luxury service standards, delivering a personalised and professional experience
• Conduct regular quality audits and spot checks to ensure SOP compliance and service consistency
• Manage third-party reservation channels, ensuring rates, inventory, and availability are always accurate
• Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and effective conversion techniques
• Partner with Revenue Management and Sales and Marketing to monitor demand, booking trends, and identify revenue opportunities
• Oversee escalated reservations, VIP arrangements, and special requests with timely follow-through
• Ensure no-show and late-cancellation policies are reviewed and applied accurately
• Analyze departmental performance, prepare reports, and develop action plans for continuous improvement
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Reservations team to achieve high performance and guest engagement

 

• Minimum 5 years of progressive reservations experience in hospitality, including at least 2 years in a management role
• Previous experience in a five-star hotel or resort environment
• Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue
• Advanced proficiency in Opera PMS and reservations-related systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and third parties
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Must have valid US work authorization

 

• USD $80,000 - $90,000 per year
• Housing allowance of USD $1,000 per month
