Pay Range:

$19.80 - $29.70

Position Summary 

ACL Logistics is seeking a Dispatcher responsible for coordinating courier services, specimen pickups, deliveries, and client requests. This position serves as the communication hub between clients, couriers, laboratory staff, and third-party transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient service. 

Responsibilities 

• Coordinate and dispatch courier pickups, deliveries, STAT requests, and route changes. 
• Use Soft Express, Genesys Cloud, and other software platforms to schedule, track, and monitor services. 
• Communicate effectively with couriers, clients, laboratory staff, and third-party vendors. 
• Answer inbound calls professionally and accurately process service requests. 
• Monitor courier activity and resolve routing, pickup, and delivery issues in real time. 
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, logs, and documentation. 
• Support daily courier operations by coordinating supplies, route materials, and equipment. 
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications 

• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously. 
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. 
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. 
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. 
• Customer service, dispatch, logistics, call center, or healthcare experience preferred. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Work Environment 

• Fast-paced dispatch center supporting laboratory courier operations. 
• Frequent interaction with clients, couriers, laboratory personnel, and external transportation providers. 
• High-volume phone and computer-based work requiring constant attention to detail and multitasking. 
• Ability to handle time-sensitive situations and make quick decisions to meet service expectations. 
• Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs. 

• Hybrid work schedule: 2 days in-office and 3 days remote (subject to change based on business needs) 
  

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer workstation. 
• Continuous use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multiple software applications. 
• Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, headset, and communication systems. 
• Ability to read and interpret information displayed on multiple computer monitors. 
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds. 
• Ability to remain calm and professional while handling high call volumes and time-sensitive situations.
