As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility grounds, operational areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
