Shift: 2nd
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturday and Sundays as‑needed to support operations. Additional compensation is provided for the 6th and 7th workdays.
Hours: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM/end of shift (flex as needed)
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for directing and training supervisors in all facets including but not limited to production, paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, safety, problem solving, etc. Accountable for areas of performance, safety, quality, workers compensation, turnover, bid movement, Team Member morale, and other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 4 plus years of related industry experience; 2 plus years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility pork or beef preferred; Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HAACP regulations.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point. SAP, POKA, Safety Chain a plus.
Supervisory Skills: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.
Special Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Travel: Some travel is required. This could be to other facilities or to corporate.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections; fixed ladders stairs steps etc. able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility; the temperature in most of the areas range from 28 - 45 degrees.

- Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations will then be reviewed for consideration.
