Requirements

Position Overview

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for managing the complete contract lifecycle, including:

· Contract drafting and review

· Risk analysis and mitigation

· Contract negotiations

· Compliance monitoring

· Contract administration and renewals

· Financial and operational analysis

· Regulatory compliance support

You will play a critical role in ensuring agreements align with company objectives while protecting the organization from legal, financial, and operational risk. 

What You'll Do

Contract Management & Negotiation

· Review, draft, analyze, and negotiate customer, supplier, distributor, service, purchasing, and commercial agreements.

· Assess legal, regulatory, financial, and operational risks associated with contractual terms.

· Partner with leadership to recommend contract acceptance, modifications, or alternative business solutions.

· Prepare contract summaries and executive-level risk assessments.

Compliance & Risk Management

· Support HIPAA, privacy, data security, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and healthcare-related contracting requirements.

· Monitor regulatory developments and recommend updates to contract templates and policies.

· Assist with contract disputes, interpretation, and resolution activities.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Business & Financial Analysis

· Perform profitability analyses, pricing reviews, and contract performance evaluations.

· Develop reporting and metrics that support strategic decision-making.

· Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes and operational efficiency.

Contract Lifecycle Administration

· Manage contract repositories, renewal schedules, amendments, and document retention requirements.

· Maintain contract templates and clause libraries.

· Coordinate contract approval workflows with key stakeholders.

· Support internal and external audit activities involving contractual documentation.

Required Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor's degree in: 

o Business Administration

o Finance

o Accounting

o Business Law

o Healthcare Administration

o Or a related discipline

Experience

· Minimum 3 years of experience in: 

o Contract administration

o Contract analysis

o Legal support

o Procurement

o Finance

o Related business disciplines

· Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. 

Preferred Qualifications

· MBA or other advanced graduate degree

· Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)

· Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)

· Paralegal, legal studies, or compliance certifications

· Experience within: 

o Healthcare

o Medical devices

o Life sciences

o Manufacturing

o Other regulated industries

· Experience with HIPAA-related contracting

· Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.

Technical Skills

Strong candidates will bring experience with:

· Contract drafting and administration

· Contract lifecycle management

· Healthcare and regulatory compliance

· Risk assessment and mitigation

· Financial analysis and reporting

· Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency)

· Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Contract management software platforms

· Document management and records retention processes.
