JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Chassis Estimator/Quality Control in Mount Pleasant. The Chassis Estimator/Quality Control overview has mechanical knowledge, organizational skills, and proficient with using tablets and other technology. These positions will also assist in monthly parts inventories, manual labor of organizing parts/metal, as well as some forklift usage.

Please note we have a zero tolerance for drug and alcohol usage as well as a clean driving record (to use company vehicles)

Responsibilities of a Chassis Estimator/Quality Control includes:

• Inspect chassis, trailers, or equipment to determine damage, wear, or production needs
• Estimate cost of repairs, parts, and labor
• Determine whether components should be repaired or replaced
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal teams
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and management on repair decisions

Job Requirements of a Chassis Estimator/Quality Control:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical inspection, or estimating preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, or specifications (preferred)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs)
• Comfortable working in an industrial or outdoor environment
• Ability to perform repetitive inspections and measurements
