At Terra Fertility, we are reimagining fertility care by making it more accessible through transparent pricing, innovative technology, and comprehensive patient education. We aim to ensure that everyone—regardless of background, language, or identity—feels informed, empowered, and supported throughout their fertility journey.
Terra Fertility is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Medical Assistant to support both our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and outpatient clinic. This position will primarily work in the PACU three days per week, supporting patient flow, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing patient packets, turning over PACU bays, and managing instrument cleaning and sterilization. The remaining two days will be spent providing clinical and administrative Medical Assistant support within the office.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment, understands the importance of infection control and patient confidentiality, and enjoys collaborating with nurses, physicians, and administrative team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining and documenting vital signs.
- Prepare patient packets, PACU bays, examination rooms, and clinical supplies.
- Clean, disinfect, restock, and turn over PACU bays and examination rooms between patients.
- Support nurses and providers with patient flow and procedural needs within the Medical Assistant’s scope of practice.
- Clean, package, sterilize, and track instruments using the autoclave in accordance with infection-control standards.
- Perform blood draws, specimen collection, and urine pregnancy testing as assigned.
- Assist providers during clinical procedures such as HSGs, saline sonograms, IUIs, and endometrial biopsies.
- Support clinic operations through scheduling, chart preparation, documentation, scanning, telephone messages, and other administrative Medical Assistant tasks.
- Monitor clinical and procedural supplies and communicate restocking or ordering needs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide efficient, compassionate care.

- Full-time, non-exempt position based on-site in Dedham, Massachusetts.
- The schedule will generally include three PACU-focused days and two clinic and administrative Medical Assistant days each week.
- Typical hours are approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with some variability and occasional weekend or holiday coverage based on operational needs.
- Salary range of $23–$29 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits include bonus potential, overtime and shift differential eligibility, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development support.
