Job Summary:

As a Senior Pre-Analytic Tech, you will have a direct impact on patient outcomes by conducting vital tests and analyses helping in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. You will make sure patients receive accurate and timely test results.

In this role, you will support other pre-analytic techs and help in the training and orientation of new employees or students.

You must know combinations of tests and the acceptable minimum volumes. You must also be familiar with test synonyms and abbreviations and cross-referencing tests to specimen types.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate excellent processing skills and have been continuously employed as a pre-analytic technician for 3 years.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science related field
