Maintenance Technician

Available Shifts:

2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

Because these are evening and overnight shifts, the ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and make sound maintenance decisions with less immediate supervision is important.

There may be occasional weekend overtime, project work, or on-call support based on business and project needs.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician with electromechanical knowledge to join our team in West Sacramento and help keep our facility, equipment, and production operations running safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with a well-rounded electromechanical background who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technology, and keeping equipment operating reliably.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors and semi-automated material handling systems
• Work with electrical and low-voltage systems, sensors, switches, controls, and other electrical components
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment
• Assist with motion control and equipment troubleshooting
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment and forklifts
• Identify equipment issues and determine the appropriate course of action to minimize downtime
• Use a CMMS to document maintenance activities, work orders, parts, and equipment issues
• Perform basic facility maintenance and repairs as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other maintenance equipment safely
• Support projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with operations and other maintenance team members
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a well-rounded maintenance background and strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in several of the following areas is highly valuable:

• Electromechanical maintenance
• Conveyor systems
• Electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting
• Pneumatics
• Piping
• Motion control
• Material handling equipment/forklifts
• Mechanical equipment repair
• Industrial automation or semi-automated equipment
• CMMS/work order systems
• Refrigeration experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with heavier lifting possible depending on the task
• Ability to work around moving machinery, conveyors, and varying noise levels
• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the facility environment
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other maintenance equipment
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
• Ability to work at heights when required

Pay Range:$21.15 - $36.25
