Position Overview
Advanced Primary Care in Leland, NC is looking for Gynecologic Nurse Practitioner to join a growing, outpatient, adults-only practice in rapidly growing Brunswick County, NC! The current location will moving into a brand new 66,000 sq foot facility early Spring ’27 alongside multiple specialties and an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Excellent opportunity to make a difference in a growing population in a new building!
Location & Setting:
Located in Brunswick County, Leland offers a rapidly growing community just across the bridge from Wilmington and within easy reach of the coast. The practice currently provides personalized primary care for adults and seniors, including same-day sick visits and on-site laboratory services

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements:
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, Master’s degree or higher required
- Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with vision and hearing within normal range to respond to Code alerts and equipment alarms. Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints with irregular working hours.
