## Maintenance Planner (Mechanical/Electrical)
The Maintenance Planner serves as the primary coordinator for all planned maintenance activities, acting as the critical link between proactive strategy and daily execution. This role is responsible for kitting resources—labor, parts, and tools—to maximize "wrench time" and ensure facility reliability and safety.
Current Opening on Day shift:
- Monday – Friday: 6:30 am - 3 pm
- Starting wage: $38.80
## Key Responsibilities:
- * Order and manage materials: Identify and kit all parts required for planned jobs, working with the storeroom and vendors to ensure inventory availability for both planned and emergency repairs.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Communicate with Production Scheduling, Leadership, and Engineering to facilitate, coordinate, and schedule planned maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Work Order Management: Review, prioritize, and schedule all incoming maintenance requests within the CMMS (SAP) to maximize equipment utilization.
- Documentation and Job Planning: Develop detailed Job Plans and project sheets for craftspeople, and Preventive Maintenance including prints, drawings, and required parts.
- WCM PM Pillar and EWO Process: Participate in and lead PM pillar activities, expansion activities, and the EWO process.
- Technical Assistance: Provide daily technical support to Maintenance and Production Leadership, Craftspeople, and Engineering.
- Spare Parts Management: Investigate requirements for new and existing equipment, setting up spare parts in NPS and managing obsolescence.
- Contractor Management: Manage maintenance contractors used for planned repairs and inspections.
- Safety Leadership: Provide leadership in maintaining a proactive safe environment and ensuring all planned work includes necessary safety permits and LOTO procedures.
## Minimum Requirements:
- * Experience: 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- An Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Completion of a four-year apprenticeship/technical program or State Journeyman Card in a relevant trade (e.g., Tool & Die, Millwright, or Industrial Maintenance Technician) required.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Equipment repair and hydraulic systems.
