ASSOCIATE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate Project Development Manager is a client-facing role based in our Los Angeles office. The role sits within I-Grace's Project Development Team and reports to the Senior Vice President. This individual helps cultivate new project opportunities and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and designers across the full lifecycle of a project.

Working closely with the SVP, the Associate Project Development Manager independently manages an assigned portfolio of prospects and relationships while supporting the team's larger pursuits. This individual prepares proposals, helps define scopes of work, and coordinates I-Grace resources so that each opportunity moves forward with clarity and care. The role suits a professional who is ready to take ownership of client relationships and grow into a senior business development position.

Familiarity with the Los Angeles and Southern California luxury residential market and its architecture and design community is a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

• Act as a point of contact for clients, architects, and designers on assigned new projects through handoff to project teams
• Manage an assigned group of prospects independently, and support the SVP on larger or more complex pursuits
• Keep prospective projects moving by sourcing solutions and communicating regularly with stakeholders
• Attend networking events, business development meetings, and industry functions on behalf of I-Grace, and build relationships within the local design community
• Manage intake and development of new project opportunities and inquiries
• Keep detailed notes and prepare reports on existing relationships and active prospects

PROPOSALS & PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

• Develop proposals and solutions to client needs, coordinating I-Grace resources for implementation
• Prepare proposals and materials for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including written copy, relevant portfolio items, graphics, and drawings, using InDesign, Creative Cloud, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Define and develop scopes of work and potential phases of work, with guidance from the SVP and Manager on complex projects
• Document and organize prospective project information, including drawings, photographs, written reports, and scopes of work
• Organize and submit prospect approval forms

INTERNAL COLLABORATION & REPORTING

• Partner with all I-Grace teams to develop client touchpoints, gifting, seasonal outreach, and engagement initiatives
• Learn and use I-Grace's portfolio, and stay current on the scope of active projects and relationships
• Prepare for and take part in internal Business Development meetings, sharing updates on leads, developments, and market insights

BRAND & DIGITAL PRESENCE

• Coordinate, organize, and attend events showcasing I-Grace
• Organize, edit, and update I-Grace digital collateral and the digital portfolio
• Manage and update the contact database

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum three to five years' experience in architecture, interior design, project management, or high-end residential private property management
• B.Arch, M.Arch, or BA/BS in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent construction experience
• Experience working on high-end residential projects and/or within luxury brands
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawing sets
• Knowledge of technical architectural components, formal architectural styles, and the phases of the design process
• Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Polished, professional client-facing presence
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required for client-facing travel throughout the Los Angeles area
• Ability to travel as needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience.
