SSM Health Physical Therapy - Outpatient Division
Centralized Scheduler - ON-SITE - Hazelwood, MO
Full Time - Monday Through Friday
Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-6:30 PM
Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic Central Scheduler to join our team! Our Central Schedulers work with referral sources to ensure that each patient gets scheduled at the appropriate clinic and can receive the best quality care. Our Central Schedulers make and take calls to patients to get them scheduled at one of our clinics. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service, multitasking skills, computer skills, and adaptability.

SSM Health Physical Thearpy offers a wide array of outpatient services at multiple locations throughout the St. Louis Metro area. Our outpatient services range from specific, single therapy services, such as physical therapy for back pain or a sports injury, to comprehensive day-long therapy programs as part of our Day Institute Program. SSM Health Physical Therapy also offers home health services through SSM Home Care, which allow patients to receive therapy services at home. The goal of rehabilitation for each patient is to achieve a better quality of life, independence, comfort, and maximum mobility.
- High volume calls - making and taking - to schedule patients for physical therapy
- Supports 84+ outpatient physical therapy clinics
- Obtain and track authorizations
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Multitasking
- Working with dual monitors
- Use of EPIC system
- Working with clinic staff and referral sources
- Ability to explain processes to patients
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One year in medical office setting that required multi-tasking
- Knowledge of health insurance preferred
- Strong computer and customer service skills a must
