About This Role

The tools engineers rely on every day shape how fast good ideas become real products. As Product Manager for GE Vernova's Engineering Tools, you sit at the center of that equation — translating what engineering teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, and business leaders need into a clear, prioritized roadmap for Software Delivery Management (SDM) and Configurator platforms. You will own the product vision, drive delivery, and help teams move faster and more confidently.

This role partners across engineering, technology, and operations to ensure the tools that power GE Vernova's development lifecycle are continuously improving.

Job Description

What You'll Do

• Own the product roadmap for Aurora, SDM, Configurator, and supporting tools — coordinating across System Simulation tools and business priorities to deliver a clear, sequenced plan
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new feature development, defect resolution, and technical debt to maximize value delivery across each sprint cycle
• Partner with development teams — including GE Vernova engineers and contractors — to shape user stories, define acceptance criteria, and maintain delivery quality
• Quantify business impact by tracking and communicating cycle time reductions, on-time delivery rates, and optimization gains delivered through SDM
• Establish sprint cadence and delivery milestones, including training and communication plans that keep stakeholders informed and teams aligned
• Build alignment across a broad stakeholder base — engineering users, cybersecurity, CTO AWS support teams, and contractors — through a consistent communication rhythm that addresses near-term delivery and longer-term strategy

What You'll Bring

You are a structured thinker who thrives at the intersection of technology and delivery. You know how to listen carefully to what different stakeholders need, synthesize competing priorities, and turn ambiguity into a plan the team can execute.

Required:

• A formal education and subsequent Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements
• Proven experience in Engineering, Technology, or Program Management — with demonstrated ability to lead product or tool development efforts

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with System Simulation tools such as Configurator, cMLA (Continuous Machine Learning Architecture), or Park Condition Repository
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery frameworks
• Experience with software programming that informs how you engage with development teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across individual contributors and senior leadership levels
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and drive execution

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $199,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
