Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, to support Margin and Inventory planning and analysis for the APAC region and to facilitate regional retail store portfolio analysis and review. This role is crucial for driving financial efficiency, fostering cross-functional and market collaboration, and leading transformative projects that align product, supply chain, and financial planning to support business growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional expertise in data analysis, financial modeling, and promoting data-driven decision-making. This role should also continue to streamline processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and process simplification. This role requires innovative thinking and the ability to influence stakeholders at regional and market levels.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job

• Streamline the APAC Gross Margin process by establishing aligned definitions of margin components across the region to enable efficient and consistent analysis and reporting. Continuously maintain a clear view of margin planning and support seamless connections between APAC markets.

• Coordinate APAC inventory review process with consolidated regional inventory reporting and analysis. Provide proactive, timely insights on potential risks and opportunities. Lead cross-functional inventory review meetings with regional and market leaders to facilitate meaningful discussions and actionable outcomes.

• Partner with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Merchandise Planning to bridge the gap between product planning (including Open-to-Buy processes and Gross Intake Margin assumptions) and financial planning, ensuring alignment on gross margin impacts. Facilitate communication and coordination with corporate teams.

• Support APAC retail store portfolio analysis and review. Collaborate with Real Estate and local market finance teams to build and maintain an APAC store portfolio database. Provide data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.

• Support other finance transformation initiatives. Champion innovative, strategic projects that enhance business value, including support for transformation efforts such as A4A and other cross-functional programs. Expand scope through collaboration to influence broader organizational goals.

Knowledge/Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or an advanced certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or ACCA) preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on margin planning, inventory management, or supply chain finance in a regional or multinational setting, ideally in retail, consumer goods, or related industries.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and database management; proficient with tools such as Excel, SQL, MS Office, and Power BI.

• Experience in APAC markets, with an understanding of regional differences in financial and operational practices.
