Position Purpose:

The Commercial Sales Coordinator at SRS Building Products plays a pivotal role in driving business success by effectively supporting the Commercial Sales Manager and sales team in executing strategic sales initiatives. The role demands excellence in managing client relationships, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating logistics, thereby ensuring seamless sales operations and enhancing client satisfaction. With a keen focus on process improvement and market analysis, the Commercial Sales Coordinator contributes to the development of informed strategies that bolster the company’s competitive edge and foster growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Initiatives: Collaborate closely with the Commercial Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, driving growth and expanding market share within the commercial segment.

  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison for commercial clients, ensuring exemplary service delivery by addressing client queries, facilitating seamless communication, and strengthening client relationships.

  • Sales Data Management and Reporting: Accurately manage and update sales data in CRM systems to track key performance indicators. Generate detailed sales reports and analytics for the sales leadership team, fostering data-driven strategic decisions.

  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process enhancements within the sales workflows, aiming to increase overall productivity and the effectiveness of the commercial sales team.

  • Coordinate Sales Events and Logistics: Efficiently manage the logistics of sales meetings, conferences, and industry events, ensuring flawless execution and optimal representation of the company.

  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to monitor industry trends and competitor activities. Provide key insights and strategic recommendations to the sales team to capitalize on emerging opportunities and threats.

  • Proposal and Presentation Development: Assist in crafting compelling proposals, bids, and sales presentations, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational standards to secure new business opportunities.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to sales operations and customer satisfaction, aligning team efforts with the company's strategic goals.

Travel Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a strong customer service orientation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, with a preference for experience using Salesforce, to efficiently manage client interactions and data integrity.

  • In-depth knowledge of the roofing and building materials industry, with a clear understanding of current market trends, customer needs, and industry-specific challenges.

  • Strong project management skills, with formal training or certification (e.g., PMP) being highly desirable, to oversee and manage the seamless execution of sales initiatives.

  • Bilingual proficiency is an asset, particularly in Spanish, to effectively serve a diverse client base and expand market reach.

Minimum Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference for candidates possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales coordination or support role, preferably in the building products or construction industry.
