We are looking for an Intelligent Automation Manager for our JBS Business, as part of our Global Business Excellence and Transformation team. This is a senior developer role, one level below the P3 Senior Manager. The core role responsibilities are helping us build out the Automation capability for the organization — spanning RPA and Gen AI-enabled automation — and supporting the design, delivery, and maintenance of these solutions for our customers, as well as supporting the delivery of a broader array of technology initiatives for JBS.

Role Purpose

The Intelligent Automation Manager for JBS role requires working collaboratively with teams and sponsors to design, build, and support automation solutions of varying size and complexity - primarily RPA, with growing exposure to Gen AI-enabled automation. This role will utilize technical and change management principles and tools to focus on driving financial results for assigned workstreams, ensuring deliverables are tangible and well-constructed, with the lead providing overall technical direction.

What This Job Involves

• Responsible for design, development, run support and maintenance of RPA solutions

• Be a subject matter contributor in Automation - primarily RPA technologies (Automation Anywhere A360 & Power Platfrom), but also other low code/no code technologies and Gen AI-enabled automation - from a design/delivery/maintenance perspective

• Be accountable for the design, development, and execution of the RPA and Gen AI-enabled automation solutions assigned to them

• Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 to streamline processes and maximize efficiency

• Design automation processes as per the operational needs of the organization, using Workload Management for scalability

• Scripting/coding in the RPA tool to resolve automation issues

• Review code and design for peer solutions, providing input on development and systems integration

• Configure new automations with efficient and easily understandable automation tools

• Document automation procedures

• Collaborate with RPA Governance on best practices and code reviews

• Contribute to training businesses on the use of RPA technologies and automation best practice

• Participate in technical discussions and help develop strategies to solve technical challenges

• Perform root-cause analysis for errors/incidents

• Support the identification of the over-arching framework to deliver RPA and Gen AI-enabled solutions from inception to maintenance and ongoing monitoring of digital worker performance

• Work closely with technology to support a holistic Automation SDLC that integrates and operates effectively with technology infrastructure requirements, including basic prompt-related considerations for Gen AI-enabled automations

• Build and maintain effective communications with key stakeholders, cross functional leaders and project team members

• Be accountable for delivering agreed internal client benefits for their assigned automations

• Coach and guide developers where necessary

• Contribute to a culture of process re-engineering into automation and Gen AI-enabled solution design

• Model and develop robotic process and Gen AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual processes and improve employee productivity

• Apply best practices to reduce complexity, improve scalability, reusability, security and increase efficiency through standardisation

• Provide support in performing QA testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing as needed whilst contributing to the broader capability, including flagging inconsistent or unreliable Gen AI outputs for review

• Support governance and regular report-out to help achieve defined outcomes within defined timeframes

The Candidate

The successful candidate will combine the ability to work with multiple teams/workstreams with prior experience delivering the benefits of transformational change.

The candidate needs a demonstrable and highly technical mind-set, strong design acumen in addition to excellent listening and communication skills. A logical, structured approach to problem solving and common sense are key.

Experience

• Extensive professional experience in a technology delivery role, ideally with exposure to a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or a firm with a well-established transformation agenda

• Previous roles include hands-on Technical Delivery experience in a global company with similar size to JLL

• At least 5+ years of experience which includes RPA, Gen AI, prompt engineering, and programming

• RPA platform experience: extensive hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere A360 (Control Room, bot development), plus experience with Power Automate/Power Platform, with certifications is a plus

• Experience with Gen AI tools/tech implementations, including LLM-based prompting and familiarity with enterprise Gen AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI)

• Preferred exposure to agentic AI concepts or Automation Anywhere's Agentic Process Automation (APA) platform

• Experience with Run support

• Direct experience contributing to major international business transformation projects

• Strong technical and analytical skills are essential

• Diverse industry and functional backgrounds gained through consulting or elsewhere

• Ability to train / transfer learning and skills to junior developers

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Needs to demonstrate credibility in having delivered automation solutions as part of a design and implementation programme

Technical Skills

• Must have experience in Solution Design, Development, Testing, Run Support, Maintenance, Incident Management and Change Management

• Control room administration knowledge (Automation Anywhere A360)

• Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes

• Experience in handling Change Requests and Incidents, and experience in change management process

• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile development

• Good working experience with all types of applications and APIs for RPAs

• Good working experience with document automation and other OCR tools, including Gen AI-powered document processing

• Experience of Database, Python/VB scripting and Excel VBA

• Knowledge of Agile Tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA

• To own, contribute and deliver project tasks / activities as required to deliver project outcomes on the ground

• Contributing to a central capability to deploy Automation at scale and quality

Gen AI & Prompt Engineering

• Solid, hands-on prompt engineering skills for business automation use cases: data extraction, document classification, content generation, and decision/validation logic

• Familiarity with prompt optimization techniques: few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting, role-based prompting, context management, etc

• Understanding of hallucination risk and output-validation strategies for production use

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AWS) into automation workflows

• Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts for grounding Gen AI outputs in enterprise data
