About the Role & Team
The primary focus of the position is to support and secure the successful preparation of the DisneyTV launch on 1 December, with responsibility for program planning, content planning, content coordination, and the technical interface with Operations and Scheduling teams across GSA and London. The role ensures that planning processes, content data, schedule structures, and operational workflows are accurately prepared and coordinated ahead of launch.
This fixed-term role is required from August to December. This role is primarily based onsite in our Munich office, with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

What You Will Do
Lead and support the preparation of DisneyTV program and content planning for the 1 December launch, ensuring that all relevant schedule structures, content priorities, and launch requirements are reflected accurately.Act as a key technical and operational interface between local GSA teams and London-based Operations and Scheduling departments to ensure that launch-related planning data, workflows, and system requirements are implemented correctly.
Enter, maintain, validate, and coordinate program and content data in the What’sOn planning system, applying the technical understanding required to manage planning and scheduling tool dependencies.
Ensure clear, timely, and solution-oriented communication across all relevant internal interfaces to reduce launch risk and enable a smooth transition from Disney Channel to DisneyTV.
Coordinate content requirements, editorial priorities, episode rollouts, and launch-related programming initiatives in close alignment with Programming, Content, Marketing, Operations, and Scheduling stakeholders.
Develop and maintain episode rollouts for programming, ensuring accurate sequencing, timing, and editorial consistency.
Evaluate program performance and provide recommendations to optimize schedule effectiveness.
Conduct continuous market analysis and monitor relevant audience, content, and scheduling trends.
Track national and international competitor activity to identify programming opportunities and market benchmarks.
Analyze ratings, market shares, audience structures, and target-group performance to support informed planning decisions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
University degree in communications, media studies, or a comparable media-specific education or qualification/ work experience.
Minimum of four years of professional experience in TV program planning, content planning, or scheduling, including strong hands-on experience with planning and programming tools; technical understanding of What’s On is required.
Ability to translate editorial and content planning requirements into operational system workflows and to coordinate technical dependencies with Operations and Scheduling teams.
Collaborative, team-oriented working style combined with strong initiative, fast comprehension, analytical thinking, and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to remain focused, calm, and reliable even under high workload and time pressure.
Confident user of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent German and English language skills, both verbal and written
