Locum Tenens Certified Nurse Midwife – West-Central Pennsylvania
90 minutes from Pittsburg
Locum CNM opportunity offers meaningful, full-scope women’s health coverage in a community-focused hospital in west-central Pennsylvania. You’ll work true 24-hour in-house shifts with continuity of care across pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, and newborn services in a collaborative physician-supported environment.
Why This Assignment
- Dates: October - January 2027
- Schedule: Weekdays 16 hour shift - M-F 4p-8a / Weekends 24 hour shifts Sa-Sunday 8a-8a - specific dates
- Annual volume of approximately 1,200 patients
- Full-scope CNM practice including OB, postpartum, GYN, and well newborn care
- May admit patients in collaboration with MDs
- Opportunity to assist with emergent conditions and ICU-level care as needed
- True in-house coverage—no separate call responsibilities
- Orientation provided prior to first shift
- Travel: Paid travel & expenses included
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Board Certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Pennsylvania Nurse Midwife licensed
- Experience with inpatient obstetrics and newborn care
- Ability to manage emergent situations independently
- Current DEA
