CLOSING DATE: Position closed August 21, 2026 at 11:59pm
THE ROLE:
What if your next marketing campaign wasn't selling a product... but building a stronger community?
The City of Pasco is looking for a strategic marketer who sees every campaign as an opportunity to connect people with the services, programs, facilities, events, and experiences that improve their lives.
This isn't a role where you'll simply execute someone else's ideas. You'll help shape the City's marketing strategy, lead integrated marketing campaigns, grow one of Washington's most unique municipal brands, build community partnerships and sponsorships, and find new ways to engage one of the state's fastest-growing and most diverse communities.
You'll balance creativity with strategy, storytelling with analytics, and big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. One week you might be launching a campaign for a new aquatic center. The next, you're building sponsorships for a community festival, coordinating outreach with City departments and community partners, or helping residents discover a program they never knew existed.
We're looking for someone who thinks like a marketer, creates like a designer, and believes government can earn attention through creativity instead of obligation. The ideal candidate can develop clear, compelling, accessible, and measurable marketing across digital, print, multimedia, and community outreach platforms.
