About the role:

You will work across a broad range of transactional banking, finance and financial services regulatory matters, including:

• Acting for banks, lenders, borrowers, investors and corporate clients.
• Assisting with business, property and acquisition finance transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing loan, security and related documents.
• Supporting matters from the initial stages through to completion.
• Conducting legal research and due diligence.
• Advising clients on financial services and regulatory requirements.
• Working closely with lawyers across corporate, property, restructuring and tax.
• Managing client relationships and taking on greater responsibility as you develop.

 

The ideal candidate:

• Approximately 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience in a banking and finance team.
• A strong academic record.
• Excellent drafting, legal research and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify key legal and commercial issues.
• Commercially minded, proactive and focused on delivering practical outcomes.
• Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
