Description
Reporting to the Transportation Planning Manager, you will coordinate transportation planning activities across the supply chain, supporting customer and stock transfer orders for finished goods and raw and packaging materials. You will execute transportation strategies that support service, cost, and operational goals, provide system and process expertise, lead cross-functional projects, support transportation analytics and reporting, and serve as a key resource for transportation planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives. A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in transportation-related projects, testing activities, and system enhancements involving transportation systems and connected applications.
- Maintain pool schedules, IDOCs, SAP transit times, and department SharePoint resources.
- Support supply chain initiatives through analytics, reporting, and operational expertise.
- Execute daily transportation planning activities for shipments moving between facilities and to customers.
- Partner with facilities to resolve shipment coverage, pickup, and transportation service issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communication with customer service and inventory deployment teams regarding carrier performance issues.
- Monitor transportation reports and take action on loads scheduled for delivery after the Required Delivery Date or without delivery appointments.
- Consolidate shipments to improve load utilization and reduce transportation expense.
- Drive route guide compliance and support awarded carrier utilization strategies.
- Escalate facility, carrier, customer, or network trends to transportation leadership.
- Analyze transportation data to identify root causes of service issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain transportation reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with inventory deployment, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to improve performance metrics and resolve customer concerns.
- Partner with warehouse teams and customer service teams to resolve order-related issues.
- Troubleshoot transportation system transactions and support order visibility between OTM and SAP.
- Train team members on transportation systems, reporting tools, and established processes.
- Provide leadership support and operational coverage during manager absences.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of transportation, analytics, logistics, or supply chain experience.
- Working knowledge of transportation management systems and report development.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Oracle, and SAP.
- Experience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and presentation.
- Understanding of transportation management concepts, processes, and industry terminology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience influencing and collaborating across teams.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with multiple functional groups.
- Self-driven approach to identifying opportunities and resolving issues.
- Experience supporting organizational and process change initiatives.

Compensation
Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
