As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor in our OB Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in guiding clinical teams, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting families during some of life’s most critical and meaningful moments.

Position Details:
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate patient placement and staff assignments to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
- Support and assist clinical staff with patient care and unit operations
- Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, patients, and families
- Step in as a staff nurse as needed based on patient acuity
- Supervise and direct clinical activities, responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in staff education, onboarding, and ongoing training
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with departmental operations including staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization
- Help maintain inventory, equipment, and overall unit environment
- Represent the department on committees and organizational initiatives
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license (or compact license) meeting all state board requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Certification:
- BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit (e.g., ACLS, NRP, C-EFM, PALS, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisor or leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in OB, emergency, or high-acuity settings
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and movement required
