As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for
Performing TIG welding operations in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Work Instructions (WI), engineering drawings, and repair documentation.
Executing welding and repair activities while ensuring compliance with customer and company quality requirements.
Reading and interpret technical drawings, specifications, repair instructions, and process documentation.
Inspecting completed work to ensure conformity with quality standards and acceptance criteria.
Supporting inspection, repair, and restoration activities on industrial components.
Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
Ensuring work is completed within established productivity and turnaround time targets.
Following instructions provided by supervisors and support the achievement of operational priorities.
Assisting colleagues and contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.
Supporting cross-functional activities when required and demonstrate flexibility across different operational areas.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Technical Diploma, Vocational Training Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Welding, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related technical field.
Have a minimum of 5 years of TIG welding experience in an industrial environment
Have experience within the Gas Turbine, Power Generation, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industrial sector is highly preferred.
Have experience in component repair and service operations is considered a strong advantage.
Have relevant welding certifications are preferred.
Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Have strong attention to detail and workmanship
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
