Concrete Plant Supervisor
Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Port Lincoln Concrete Plant. This role ensures the efficient and safe production of high-quality concrete. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing, and loading operations.
- Ensure the quality control of all raw materials and finished products, conducting regular tests and inspections.
- Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures, fostering a safe working environment for all staff.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of plant operators and support staff, ensuring high performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete to customer sites.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and maintenance reports.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Knowledge of concrete batching plant equipment, processes, and quality control procedures will be highly regarded.
- Relevant tickets and qualifications (e.g., White Card, FEL, forklift license) are desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Strong safety mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols
- Confident communicator with great stakeholder management skills
