Internship in OT Cybersecurity

We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Internship in Cybersecurity for OT systems. The person in this position will deal with cybersecurity measures applied on DCS-class control systems

The candidate will be part of the Cyber Security team in the local Automation Energy Industries unit supporting the implementation of Cyber Security measures on OT-Systems and maintaining Cyber Security systems on small and large DCS installed on different industrial sites from Power Generation to Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Oil&Gas plants.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, he/she will have the opportunity to participate in designing, configuring and testing Cybersecurity solutions applied to DCS systems. Each day, he/she will assist in designing engineering solutions, including development of documentation according to Customer specifications.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries in Central-South Europe region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.

• Installing and configuring cybersecurity packages ensuring the project meets contractual obligations.

• Participating in meetings pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Qualifications for the role

• Education: degree in technical disciplines (Computer Engineering, Information and Telecommunications Engineering or similar) or student near to be graduated.

• Technical Skills: knowledge on installation and configuration of virtual environments using virtualization platforms (VMware ESX, Hyper-V)/

• Previous experience in Cybersecurity is a plus.

• Knowledge of Linux Red-Hat is a plus.

• Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.

• Soft Skills: A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
