Description
Soltage is a leader in the development, financing, and operation of distributed utility-scale solar, storage and solar + storage assets for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility customers across the United States. Soltage has developed more than 135 solar energy projects, with more than 600 MW total distributed generating capacity in operation or under construction and invested over $1.5 billion to date into the US clean energy sector.
Soltage is seeking a Senior Investments Analyst to support the execution of strong pipeline of solar and storage projects. As a key member of the Investments team, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for building financial models, screening new investment opportunities and growth markets, supporting closing of project and portfolio financings, M&A acquisitions, and managing fundings for projects under construction.
- Develop and manage financial models for solar PV and storage projects. Expert-level Excel modeling is a core competency for the role.
- Participate in all aspects of project underwriting and due diligence activities covering inputs from Engineering, Development, and senior management. Validating assumptions and fool-proofing models as projects progress from Development to Construction.
- Coordinate drafting and delivery of financing materials for Investment Committee.
- Support the origination, structuring, and execution of project financing and M&A transactions.
- Monitor state and federal renewable incentive programs and future trends for new and existing solar and storage projects.
- Develop an understanding of different electricity and capital markets for electricity generating assets (tax equity, lease/buybacks, partnership flips, non-recourse debt and corporate ownership). Support execution of offtake for the pipeline.
- Present oral or written reports on projects, financial results and research.

- Bachelor’s degre.
- 2+ of relevant experience in renewable energy project finance or infrastructure investing.
- 2+ years of Investment Banking/Private Equity internship, employment, or coursework preferred.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship from the Company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
