Job Description:

Project Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse projects that deliver innovative and practical solutions for communities. The role involves managing project scope, performance, and objectives, while aligning with client requirements, contract terms, and company policies. Candidates should have strong experience across all project phases from inception to closeout.and possess excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with the ability to thrive in a flexible, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acts as the primary Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors throughout project execution.
• Negotiates scope changes with the client and key subcontractors and supports efforts to secure additional work.
• Ensures follow-up on all project-related instructions and commitments; may participate in regulatory discussions and public meetings.
• Oversees the development of key project plans, including Project Execution, Health and Safety, and QA/QC plans.
• Establishes project requirements and ensures all deliverables meet defined standards.
• Prepares and shares a concise project summary to align the team.
• Manages all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of the project.
• Assigns responsibilities based on team members’ strengths and supports their performance and development.
• Coordinates with internal departments and external resources to build effective project teams.
• Defines key role requirements in collaboration with management.
• Develops and manages project budgets, schedules, and execution plans with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitors progress to ensure project objectives are met or exceeded.
• Identifies risks to cost or schedule and implements corrective action plans.
• Keeps the client and management informed of significant changes and maintains accurate change orders.
• Promotes quality and excellence through adherence to QA processes.
• Tracks and reports on project progress, milestones, and potential risks.
• Leads regular project review meetings to monitor performance and define action items

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 10 years’ project management experience, including at least 5 years on buildings and residential projects within UAE.
• Broad technical and business knowledge.
• Professional registration may be required.
• Strong ability to manage projects, engage with clients, and contribute hands-on to technical aspects, including design involvement.
• Thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Must meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
• Having UAE work experience and preferably based locally.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical and commercial issues to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management and team coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare concise reports, presentations, and project updates for senior management and clients.
