Description

Ready to launch your global career and shape the future of business banking?

Step into ING's International Talent Programme (ITP) – Business Banking, an 18-month graduate experience designed for ambitious graduates who want to accelerate their careers while helping businesses grow, navigate change and achieve their ambitions.

You'll work alongside experienced relationship managers, lending specialists, product experts and senior leaders, gaining exposure to the breadth of business banking while developing the skills needed to thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Your career, accelerated

Our ITP is more than a graduate program. It's an opportunity to explore different areas of business banking, discover where your strengths lie and build the foundation for a successful career in relationship management, lending, strategy, products and client solutions.

Throughout the programme, you'll complete three rotations designed to broaden your experience and accelerate your development:

  • First rotation: immerse yourself in a business banking team and gain hands-on experience supporting clients, analysing opportunities and contributing to meaningful customer outcomes from day one.
  • Second rotation: expand your perspective through a new challenge, with the opportunity to undertake an international assignment within ING's global network.
  • Third rotation: deepen your expertise by joining another area of business banking, building broader capability across relationship management, credit, products, risk, strategy or specialised industry sectors.

Beyond your rotations, you'll contribute to strategic initiatives that support ING's growth ambitions, collaborate with colleagues and fellow graduates from around the world, and receive structured learning, mentoring and coaching throughout the programme.

From supporting Australian businesses with their growth plans and financing needs to helping clients navigate complex market conditions, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

What we're looking for

We're seeking curious, driven and adaptable graduates who are passionate about building relationships, solving commercial challenges and creating value for customers.

You'll bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree completed within the last two years in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
  • Strong academic results.
  • Up to two years' professional work experience, with demonstrated workplace experience highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an interest in understanding how businesses operate and grow.
  • A global mindset and openness to international experiences.

We'd also love to hear about any internships, university projects, leadership activities, volunteering, extracurricular achievements or other experiences that demonstrate your commercial thinking, relationship-building skills and potential to succeed in business banking.

What's in it for you?

  • Opportunity to complete an international rotation within ING's global network.
  • Structured learning, development, mentoring and coaching to accelerate your career growth.
  • Exposure to senior leaders, strategic projects and meaningful work from day one.
  • Access to ING's extensive learning platforms and development resources.
  • A supportive and inclusive culture where you can be yourself and thrive.
  • Competitive employee benefits, including discounted ING Health Insurance, an additional Rest Day and an IMPACT Day to support volunteering.
  • A permanent role at ING upon successful completion of the programme.
