Overview
This person will be responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising in nursing. This position requires day, evening, and weekend hours to meet the needs of the nursing program.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field. Required
- Master's Degree in nursing or a related field. Preferred or
- Enrollment in an approved Master's degree program, with completion required by the end of five years. Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Must meet and maintain health and safety requirements (MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and annual influenza vaccination, PPD testing, COVID-19, etc.) as required by clinical affiliation agreements. Required
- Must maintain current, active unencumbered registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Required
- Valid and in State Valid Driver's License. Required
EXPERIENCE
- Expertise in adult health/medical-surgical nursing. Required
- Expertise in other specialty areas within nursing. Preferred
- Nursing experience involving direct patient care or nursing education experience within two (2) years of employment. Required
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Required
- Developed organizational skills. Required
- Must be certified in CPR at the Basic Life Support level or higher and maintain certification. Required
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Required
Responsibilities
Physical Standards and Special Job Features
- Standing or walking for extended periods of time.
- Multiple physical positioning including full range of motion.
- Fine motor manual dexterity. Some lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
Pay Transparency
Commensurate with credentials submitted as applied to the College’s Faculty Salary System. As a point of reference, the salary range for new full-time faculty hired in various disciplines throughout the College for the 2026/27 academic year is $63,747 - $81,694College Statement
