Description
We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and data-driven Paid Search Manager to own and scale our Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Ads programs. Managing a combined monthly budget of $225K–$250K+, you will be directly responsible for the strategy, execution, optimization, and continuous growth of our paid search efforts.
What are your responsibilities:
- End-to-End Account Ownership: Strategy, buildout, optimization, and daily management of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts targeting high-volume revenue growth.
- Bidding Strategy & Budget Allocation: Manage and fine-tune automated bidding strategies (specifically tROAS and Maximize Conversion Value), continuously balancing spend between high-intent search, PMax, and Demand Gen channels.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:
- Structure and refine Branded and Non-Branded search campaigns for high relevance, strong quality scores, and efficiency.
- Optimize Performance Max (PMax) campaigns using strategic asset groups, audience signals, negative keyword lists, and placement exclusions.
- Scale Demand Generation campaigns to capture upper/mid-funnel demand through engaging visual and video assets across YouTube, Discover, and Gmail.
- Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute structured A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, creative assets, audience targeting, and bidding targets.
- Data & Attribution Integrity: Collaborate with data/analytics teams to ensure accurate conversion value modeling, offline conversion tracking (OCT), first-party data integration, and attribution accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Creative, Copywriting, and Landing Page teams to supply high-performing assets for Demand Gen and PMax campaigns.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics (Spend, Revenue, ROAS, CPA, Conversion Value) and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience: 4–6+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing large-scale Paid Search (Google Ads & Bing Ads) accounts.
- Budget Scale: Proven track record of directly managing paid search budgets of $150K+ per month ($1.5M+ annually) with strict performance goals.
- Smart Bidding Mastery: Deep, practical expertise with target ROAS (tROAS) bidding, portfolio bid strategies, dynamic value-based bidding, and Smart Bidding mechanics.
- Campaign Diversity: Extensive experience running and optimizing non-branded search, PMax, and Demand Gen (or Discovery) campaigns.
- Analytical Skills: Expert-level capability in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, data manipulation), and attribution modeling.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion pixels, server-side tracking, and enhanced conversions.
- Creative Eye: Ability to collaborate on visual and video creative specs tailored for Demand Gen and asset-led formats.
- Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising certifications.
- Experience with third-party SEM management tools (e.g., SA360, Marin, Kenshoo/Skai) or bid management scripts.
