Description
ACDS is seeking a detailed oriented and customer-focused Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU)
Intake Coordinator who is well versed to support the administration of affordable housing programs. This role
serves as the primary point of contact for applicants, ensuring compliance with Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit
(MPDU) and related housing program requirements. The Intake Coordinator will guide applicants through the
process, verify eligibility, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support equitable access to
housing opportunities
Key Responsibilities
General responsibilities include processing and evaluating applications, conducting preliminary interviews to
determine program eligibility, and ensuring compliance with all program guidelines. The MPDU Intake Coordinator
will analyze applicants’ financial information, support compliance reporting, participate in audits, maintain strict
confidentiality, and assist with program evaluations.
This role also includes conducting community outreach and marketing for workshops, as well as coordinating with
developers, property managers, lenders, and other partner agencies to support successful program implementation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Housing Management, Social Services or
a closely related field with relevant work experience or any equivalent combination of; training and experience
which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. A successful candidate will have a minimum of three
(3) years of experience in affordable housing, program administration, intake coordination, case management, or
customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience working with databases and spreadsheets,
along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, a high attention to detail, and a
commitment to ensuring compliance with program requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall
computer literacy are required. The ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed, is also
required.
