Job Description
Lead the WLOC team to provide Loans operations to Wholesale Business (including Emerging Enterprise) in Malaysia
Providing direction regarding plans, strategies, implementation and monitoring efficient and effective Loans processing in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and bank policies
Manage all WLOC related project enhancement and initiatives.
Carry out continuous performance evaluations of WLOC unit work processes in accordance with performance measurement benchmarks set by the Bank
Lead and supervise daily operations to ensure:
- Compliance with applicable policies and procedures and operational control systems
- Achieve efficiency and control of credit processing with high standards
- Service quality meets specified level standards and achieves high work productivity. Create a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with internal and external customers, and ensure delivery meets agreed SLA standards.
- Continuously assess the risk profile of the credit processing infrastructure
- Evaluate whether the level of controls implemented is adequate through periodic self-risk assessments and regular group reviews.
- Conduct ongoing work process reviews and strive for streamlines to increase overall productivity through simplifying systems or procedures.
- Ensure that all credit operation work processes are based on or have updated written guidelines so that the management of credit operations is realized in a compliant manner and avoids the discovery of irregularities by both internal audit and external audit.
- Audit rating is at an acceptable level and any discrepancies/exceptions found from the audit results are immediately corrected or followed up.
- Ensure and prepare each line of duty to be filled by officers or staff who are capable and trained and placed optimally according to their respective work experience, skills and talents.
- Carry out annual planning of human resource needs and capital expenditure according to WLO's business and operational plans.
- Lead, coach and develop the members to achieve the section’s goals and to complete their responsibilities.
- Hold regular meetings with all levels of staff regarding strategies, plans and implementation as well as performance achievements that foster collective cooperations.Create and maintain communication and work coordination solutions, both with internal and external customers

Requirement:
- University graduate, minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably majoring in Management, Accounting, Business Administration and has other professional qualifications
- At least 8 years of banking operational experience, especially in the areas of credit administration and operations with at least 3 years at managerial level
- Have very adequate knowledge about credit products offered by the Bank
- Have a positive work attitude and desire to learn
- Can work under pressure both individually and in teamwork
