We are looking for Venue Manager to kick start a successful new Venue in Swansea – read on to see if you fit our requirements!
Position: Venue Manager - Swansea
Salary: £36,340.20
Bonus: Achievable quarterly and Annual bonus schemes in line with KPI Achievements
Hours per week: 45
About you:
Your aim will be to make your venue the best in town, for customers to visit and for your colleagues to work in. To do this, we require you to have/be able to:
- Experience in managing and leading a team,
- Experience of working in retail, hospitality or gambling sector/s is desirable.
- Flexibility to work different shift times – this may include weekend working, a mix of early or evening shifts and some nights.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Deliver the following: communicating with customers, your team, peers, management and key stakeholders, managing people related matters from recruiting your team, scheduling, and dealing with all things people related, whilst driving your business, delivering targets, controlling costs and dealing with compliance.

You will have overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre including:
- Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre
- Champion company standards and best practice within venue.
- Coaching and development of your team, succession planning - Many of our senior leaders started their careers managing a venue. We actively develop and promote talent from within
- Recruitment and training of any new team members for your venue
- Excellent customer service at all times, building and maintaining relationships with regular customers.
- To respond positively, promptly and appropriately to all customer feedback / enquiries.
- To actively manage and promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures.
- Operate in accordance with LCCP, Licence Conditions and Code of Practice
- To achieve KPIs and audits; this includes international, compliance, etc.
- To maintain a high standard of personal presentation and ensure that all employees always adhere to the brand dress code.
- Ensure that staff are being properly managed and any instances of poor performance or misconduct are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all administration tasks are completed at the correct time and to the required standard.
- Marketing, promotional activities and events are delivered correctly.
- Market and competitor awareness
- To monitor and analyse machine income levels.
- Physical and personal security is maintained.
- Cash/assets are controlled, and any risk of loss is minimised
- To ensure venue cash collections are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety practices and procedures ensuring the venue operates in a safe manner.
- To actively discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation or discrimination of any kind against employees, management or customers on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
