The Position

As an Informatics Senior Partner at this level, you drive strategy, innovation, and transformation across the region and industry ecosystem. You lead high-stakes, cross-functional collaborations, shape long-term business and technology vision, and influence regional priorities through thought leadership and trusted executive partnerships.

As a senior IT Business Partner supporting US RDC Finance & Commercial Operations in Indianapolis, you will connect business strategy and cutting-edge technology. You will act as a trusted partner accountable for shaping, driving, and executing long-term technology capabilities that transform healthcare delivery. Serving as an enterprise thinker, you will evaluate global trends, identify capability gaps, and connect cross-functional global teams to deploy high-value digital solutions for the US commercial market.

The opportunity:

You will embed yourself in the end-to-end FinOps ecosystem, driving multi-year strategic roadmaps for key commercial areas such as Contracting & Pricing, Credit & Collections, Incentive Compensation, Order & Instrument Fulfillment, Demand & Supply Chain Management, and Data Excellence & AI. By aligning local affiliate goals with Roche’s global digital architecture, you will unlock new capabilities, enhance customer and patient experiences, and maximize value from enterprise technology investments.

• Stakeholder Management: Leads senior-level relationships, coaches advanced communication skills, and co-leads business strategy development. Influences and promotes a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

• Impact/Strategy: Defines regional objectives that align with global strategic vision, develops long-term plans, mobilizes teams for impactful work, and influences cross-functional and organizational priorities through a strong global network.

• Business/Technical ability: Drives organization-wide innovation through advanced technical expertise, promotes a culture of strategic technology adoption, and influences organizational priorities with a focus on innovative technologies.

Who you are:

Education / Experience

• Extensive experience operating at a regional or organizational scale, building external alliances, and shaping organizational culture.  Demonstrated capability to translate multi-year commercial business objectives into strategic roadmaps and prioritizing demand ROI (business value) across competing initiatives.

• 10+ years of progressive technology experience, with a minimum of 5 years of proven success acting as a strategic technology partner to commercial executive teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred). Or similar degree.

• Proven track record in holding accountability for high-stakes problem-solving initiatives that have a transformative impact on the broader organization and industry ecosystem.

Technical Skills

• Advanced technical expertise with the ability to drive organization-wide innovation and promote strategic technology adoption.  

• Strategic capability to proactively analyze systemic issues, design long-term solutions, and develop regional objectives aligned with global vision.

Additional qualifications (preferred): 

• Direct experience with Commercial technology platforms such as SAP, Salesforce.com, Conga pricing/quoting/contracting, and Snowflake preferred.

• Proven track record in Commercial & Financial Operations Technology: Hands-on strategy experience supporting core commercial functions such as Sales Operations, Contracting & Pricing, Incentive Compensation, Order Management, or Customer Success.

• Experience with Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceuticals industries, and  familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory environments (e.g., HIPAA, Sunshine Act, GxP,  data privacy regulations).

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $128,400 - $238,400.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
