Electrical Install Lead Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Install Lead Technician to join our growing residential home services team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for leading residential electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs, with a focus on integrating electrical systems with HVAC and plumbing equipment. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with strong leadership abilities, a commitment to safety and quality, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform residential electrical installations, upgrades, panel changes, and service repairs.
• Wire and connect HVAC units, furnaces, air handlers, water heaters, and other residential equipment.
• Oversee installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
• Coordinate with HVAC and plumbing teams to support cross-trade installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed and system operation.
• Complete required permits, documentation, and service records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, including vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Provide hands-on guidance and technical support to other technicians.

Qualifications:

• 2- 10 years of residential electrical experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC electrical systems and residential mechanical equipment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment: 

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
