We are seeking a Consultant to join the Corporate Finance Group practice in our Mumbai office. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and provides clients with exceptional services.

What work you will be responsible for:
Working on preparing and reviewing third-party valuations for financial reporting and tax purposes, involving common valuation techniques like discounted cash flow (DCF), capitalized cash flow (CCF) and relative valuation.
Experience in the application of valuation methodologies for:
Valuation of portfolio investments in compliance with ASC 820
Valuation of securities for share-based compensation in accordance with IRC 409A and ASC 718, including modelling of complex capital structures with option pricing models
Purchase price allocations, valuation of intangible assets and contingent consideration in compliance with ASC 805
Privately-held companies and different equity securities of privately-held companies
Impairment testing of goodwill and long-term assets in compliance with ASC 350
Valuation of derivative instruments in compliance with ASC 815
Options, warrants and derivatives and use of binomial/lattice and Monte Carlo simulation models
Quantification of discounts and premiums
Experience interfacing with clients/auditors and managing the relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent field is required
Chartered Accountant certification is required
Valuation experience during articleship or completion of CFA Level I is required.
Valuation credentials (CFA, CEIV, ASA/AM, CPA/ABV, CVA)
Experience with on-line databases (S&P Capital IQ) and Internet research of company specific, industry and economic analysis
